Ghulam Nabi Founder started in 1998.  The Road was closed and I asked the driver to take a different route. There we saw small villages.  Where we saw missionary schools and churches. I asked what is this and they said this is what is happening in the poorest of places.  I was taken aback and thought why isn’t there Muslim schools and mosques instead? The reason for this is that the families are all broken with orphaned children or fathers who are addicts and do nothing but beat their families and stay intoxicated and the women have to then fend for themselves and their children.  Then I asked my cousin to make a list of those families who are in this situation and he made a list of 30 such families.  In 2000 we started to distribute food rations to those families.  This increased through the years and were are now at approximately 1400 individuals and growing. In 2014 we set up a trust called ‘miran bukhsh’ as a registered charity. In Kot Radha Kishan. (The running cost for this is currently £1600/month) In 2018 we started a medical centre where doctors and nurses would come and see to patients and provide free medication and consultancy.  We came to know that 85% of the population suffered from hepatitis C and diabetes. The fundamental reason for this was due to polluted water. So we set up 6 R’O (reverse order) plants.  Each plant provides between 15,000 to 20,000 litres of filtered purified water to the local people daily.  (The installation cost of each plant is about £2000 and the running cost of this plant is around £600/month). We then started building libraries within each mosque for children to access for learning purposes.  There are 4 libraries currently running.

In 2020 we set up 20 classes (under IRM smart school systems) for primary school children providing free education to all.  (The running cost for this is £1500/month).

We also provide widows who are marrying off their girls with dowry for their daughters. There are currently 2 marriages every months. The objective now is to build an independent hospital which started in 2020, where we acquired 1 acre of land.  We have since built a boundary wall some rooms for the Medical Centre and a mosque. We have sought a professional architect to create blueprints for a 120 bed hospital. Everything has been approved. However we found that the land was not sufficient and have since acquired a further 3.5 acres of land and created a boundary wall and gates. The soil has been tested and all is good for the next phase.  Now we are raising money towards the hospital to make a state of the art charity hospital that would cater for a population of 500,000 people.
